Our History
COLEGIO BILINGÜE DE PANAMA is a K-12 Bilingual school approved under Resolution No.
1923 of the Panamanian Ministry of Education. It is located in Panama City at Las Praderas de
San Antonio, No. 312, in San Miguelito.
The school began operations in 2004 with 56 preschool students, and two years later (2006), it grew to accommodate students from Kinder to sixth grade. In 2007, the high school building was incorporated, and by 2016, a new gymnasium, a semi-Olympic swimming pool, and new classrooms were added to the school’s infrastructure.
Besides holding a national accreditation by the Ministry of Education, and an ISO certification, Colegio Bilingüe de Panamá is a Leader in Me School (Franklin/Covey) and is currently seeking international accreditation through NEASC.
We define learning as the acquisition of knowledge and the development of skills through curricular and extracurricular activities that promote critical thinking, leadership, and active learning in an inclusive bilingual environment.

Philosophy
We believe that it is essential:
- To promote the students’ comprehensive development, providing them with the essential requirements that will allow them to face a society that is in constant evolution.
- To enable communication through the study of the English Language.
- To contribute to a proper formation through the constant exercise of the three essential areas of learning: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor.
- To foster the awareness of cultural and historical values immersed in every Language and discipline.
- An active methodology provides students with a unified vision of the world.
- To foster a system of values that contributes to their fulfillment in the different groups they develop.
- To empower the student as responsible, honest, and enthusiastic adults to stand up for the welfare of their family and country.
- To foster values such as good manners, courtesy, punctuality, discipline, and cleanliness, emphasizing respect inside and outside the school.
