DEFINITION OF ACCIDENT

UNFORESEEN EVENT, WHICH CAUSES BODILY INJURY DUE TO AN EXTERNAL, INVOLUNTARY, FORTUITOUS, AND VIOLENT EVENT.

At the school, it includes when the student is under the surveillance and responsibility of the school, and on the way to school or home.

If the accident occurs during school hours, first aid will be administered by our nursing staff, and the student will be notified.
The school will inform the student's guardian if a case requires an ambulance transfer.
In minor cases, a medical attention form will be given to the student, with a list of AUTHORIZED CENTERS AND HOSPITALS so that the guardian can take the student within 24 hours of the accident.
In case of failure to attend the centers authorized by the Insurer, it shall be at the discretion of the Insurer to grant any reimbursement.
If outpatient services are required, such as physical therapies, treatment, or any special medical assistance after the accident, it has to prove that the accident has been reported to the Insurer.
