Welcome Letter

Welcome to

Colegio Bilingüe de Panama

March 6, 2023.

Dear Parents and Guardians:

Welcome to the 2023 school year.

We are grateful to God for the opportunity to start a new school year, and we are committed to making this year a successful and blessed one for our beloved students.

We are grateful to God for the opportunity to start a new school year, and we are committed to making this year a successful and blessed one for our beloved students.

Committed to continuous improvement, we have made efforts in various areas. Our focus has been on infrastructure and technology as well as teacher training. All classrooms have been equipped with the latest technology, including digital boards, and 95% have soundproof windows. We have also conducted extensive teacher training, not only in their respective specialties, but also with a strong emphasis on student-centered education.

Any educational process requires essential guidelines to promote equity, inclusion and comprehensive development. We would like to share some of these guidelines with you and ask for your support as key stakeholders in the education of your children.

The use of electronic devices, such as cell phones, is allowed only as a learning tool and not as a distraction. Please note that inappropriate use of these devices will result in their confiscation and return at the end of the day for the first offense. However, repeated misuse may require the device to be retrieved by a guardian.

For the 2023 school year, classes will begin promptly at 7:10 a.m. In order to maintain an uninterrupted learning environment, students who arrive late will be required to wait until the next recess to return to their classrooms.

As we do every year, we will strictly enforce our uniform, hairstyle, dress and other policies. We would like to remind you that double-breasted hairstyles, jewelry, short skirts, tight pants, and similar items are prohibited. With your support, we are confident that we can have a successful year.

While the use of masks will be optional, we emphasize that the school will maintain a biosecurity measure: students with colds will not be allowed to attend classes.

Enclosed you will find the entrance dates and the school calendar for 2023.
